Do I Need A Digital TV Aerial Installation?
You have probably heard of the digital switchover that has been happening gradually over the last few years and will be completed in London by the end of 2012. This is the change from the old type of TV signal (called analogue) to the new digital signal.
So what does this mean for your TV aerial installation?
If you choose a digital TV service like Freeview, BT Vision or Top-up TV you will need to evaluate your aerial (this doesn’t automatically mean you have to replace it!). If you have satellite or cable already, you don't need an aerial unless you want to watch terrestrial channels, however if you do need a new one, we can help with a professional TV aerial installation.
Most people with an aerial in good condition will not need a different aerial for the digital switchover; any honest company will make clear that there is no such thing as a 'digital aerial'; whether you need a new aerial for the switchover will depend on the condition of your existing aerial and where you live.
